Hawai’i Pacific University Theatre Presents
#MeToo Monologues: Stories for Healing
Directed by Alex Munro
April 5 - 14, 2018
6 performances ONLY!
Last fall, the HPU community submitted monologues and poems about their experiences with sexual assault and abuse for consideration to be performed this spring. We were honored to read many survivors’ stories and have chosen 14 to be performed as part of our Mainstage production. A different kind of theatrical presentation, The #MeToo Monologues: Stories for Healing taps into current events, trauma, pain, fellowship, and ultimately, healing. Please come and support your community as we share in a night of coming together to say: “me too.” It will be a powerful journey into experiences to which you may not otherwise have access!
