Sometimes something, or someone, comes along which makes you examine the path your life will take…good or bad.  In this case it takes place in Dublin, Ireland, to a Guy (Jarren Amian), by a Girl (Melani Carrie’), and his music.

Guy is an aspiring songwriter pining over his ex-girlfriend (Heather Eddy) who left for New York, when he meets Girl while singing in a pub.  Guy works for his father, Da, (J. Kamamo Bailon) fixing Hoover vacuum cleaners, which happens to be the brand Girl needs fixed…”it no suck”. In exchange for Guy’s help Girl offers to pay him with music, which forms the foundation of their adventure into the music world.

The cast is awesome and will enrapture you with music for two hours.  Shout out to Nadia Carrie’ (Eamon), Moku Durant (Bank Manager), Noah Faumuina (Svec), Suzanne Green (Baruska), Michael Cruz Hartsock (Andrej), David Heulitt (Billy), Meenakshi Kutty (Emcee), Cherilyn Polliard (Reza), and the cutie of the show, 2nd grader Bailey Bugarin (Ivonka).

The show is directed by Mathias Maas; Set Design by Michelle Bisbee; Scenic Artist Willie Sabel; Lighting Design by Janine Myers; Props Design by Sara Ward; Hair & Makeup Design by Lisa Ponce de Leon; Costume Design by Jennifer Hart & Trudy Hodnefield; Sound Design by Jason Taglianetti; Production Director Braddoc DeCaires; Technical Director Dylan Chace Lee; Musical Director and onstage musician Matthew Tadashi Mazzella; all tightly held together by Stage Manager Leigh Bugarin.
